Societies built on a fossil fuel Precisely where our economies get their fuel has important implications for reducing the rise in air pollution. Unfortunately, this topic is being ignored. A number of Middle Eastern countries use fossil fuels as the primary source of electricity generation, and they are all witnessing in tandem rapid growth and increasing emissions attributed to coal plants and unregulated urbanization. In Iran, for instance, close to 75% of electricity provision is from hydrocarbon fuels like Petroleum Liquids and Natural Gas With over 80% of the world's proven oil reserves in the Middle East countries with chronic coal plants, OPEC nations are unlikely to meet Paris Climate Change Agreement guidelines. This paper discusses how reforming fuel streams could lead to a cleaner economy with lower emissions- an alternative most Middle Eastern countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar should consider urgently on account of climate change. Power generation from fossil fuels alone accounted for 82% of the world¡¯s electricity in 2017. Even though this sector contributes to environmental degradation and climate change, this is not slowing down the combined production of oil and gas by OPEC in the Middle East. while other countries are scrambling to get their new renewable energy projects through regulatory red tape- and not just doing so with the promise that these new green sources will continue production until it becomes the norm. Iran's widespread urbanization has led to construction on land with much lower permeability resulting in higher rainwater runoff levels- which can lead to disastrous floods if untreated water continues unchecked into rivers, streams, and coastal waters. Ever since oil discovery in the later half of the 19th century, it is no surprise that some countries and society form their economy around fossil fuels. The Middle East has benefitted considerably from this agreement too. With billions of barrels of crude oil to export, kingdoms like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are getting higher GDPs and standards of living than ever before. Unfortunately, there are some problems with this; some Arab nations are constantly depleting their natural capital by exporting resources for oil extraction-leading to citizens coughing up heart problems from breathing in air pollution wherever they go just from living under a sky polluted with stale air particles over time. - people who live there will have high risks of air pollution introduced near densely populated areas where its hard to breathe Besides pollution and climate change, fossil fuels have led to some of the most dangerous political and social problems in recent history. Do panning companies often use diesel-powered vehicles throughout their operation which leads to an even higher level of pollution in the vicinity.\Can you live without fossil fuels? Take corrective action to reduce your dependence on fuel consumption by switching from gasoline-powered go-carts or trains to electric ones – It¡¯s safe for our wallets for the environment, for communities around polluting fossil fuel operations, and for economies where alternative cleaner options are available . In a society built on a fossil fuel economy, the usage of coal and oil is common. With growing global concern, the shift towards environmental sustainability is necessary. What can be the corrective measures to avoid this? People should consider sustainable energy in their daily lives and entrepreneurship should be encouraged. What would be an effective way to inspire innovative thinking? Governments should invest in scientific research in order to stimulate innovation within certain domains by working closely with institutional partners and venture capitalists. Hello, this is your mentor Minkyung.
Thank you for introducing the impacts of fossil fuel usage. Although human society has built up on the use of fossil fuels, it is now time to think of their adverse effects on the environment, and ultimately, humanity. I hope we pay attention and keep working on technological advances.
Thank you for your report :)

Hi, Seyedmohammadmahan Mir Nasiri!
This is your mentor, Yoon.
I do see how societies have been driven by fossil fuels until now. Maybe today is the time for shifting from fossil fuels to eco-friendly energy. However, I don't clearly see any alternative energy source that can replace fossil fuels.
It is unfortunate that the only thing we can do is waiting for a scientific breakthrough.
Nice job on writing the free report!
I am looking forward to reading your following report!
