Climate change is a phenomenon that has been the subject of intense global discussion in recent times, and for good reason. It is an issue that affects every living organism on Earth, including us humans. Climate change refers to long-term changes in global weather patterns caused by human activities, primarily the emission of greenhouse gases. The causes of climate change are many and varied. The primary cause is the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere, causing the planet's temperature to rise. The most common greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, which are released into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial activities. The effects of climate change are widespread and have far-reaching consequences. Rising temperatures can cause melting of polar ice caps, leading to rising sea levels and devastating floods. Heatwaves, droughts, and wildfires become more frequent and intense, threatening food security and causing human displacement. Changes in weather patterns can lead to reduced crop yields and food shortages. Climate change also affects animal and plant species, leading to habitat destruction and endangerment. However, there is still hope! There are several solutions that we can implement to mitigate the effects of climate change. One of the most important solutions is to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and transition to renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. We can also reduce our carbon footprint by driving less, using public transportation, and consuming less energy. Planting trees and preserving forests can also help to absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In addition to individual actions, global cooperation is also crucial in addressing climate change. Governments, organizations, and businesses must work together to create and implement policies and initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable practices. Climate change is not just an environmental issue – it is a human issue. Our actions, or inactions, have a direct impact on our planet and our future. We must take responsibility for our actions and work together to create a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations. By taking action now, we can make a difference and create a better world for all of us.

Hello Serah! This is your mentor Yewon.
Before I start, I apologize for the late comment.
You have written a report about climate change, which is a very important issue that affect humans lives a lot.
In my opinion, using less fossil fuels and developing renewable energy is the most important thing we should do to prevent climate change from getting worse.
Thank you for your meaningful report! Great job!

Hello Serah! This is your mentor James.
First of all, terribly sorry for the late comment!
I see that your topic for this report is the terrifying aftermaths of drastic climate change and several methods that our society can implement to curb it. These methods can be categorized into two broad fields: reducing the emission and lowering the concentration of air pollutants. CCUS and air filtration would be included in the former whereas DAC technology and forest restoration would be included in the latter!
Thanks for writing such a meaningful report! Let's keep up the good work.
