Alright, let's dive into this waste situation in Nepal's big cities. It's a messy business, literally. Picture this: landfills stuffed to the brim, trash overflowing, and the consequences are not pretty. Our cities, like Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Biratnagar, are drowning in waste. What¡¯s the scoop? Well, these landfills were supposed to handle our garbage, but they¡¯re overwhelmed. That excess trash? It¡¯s causing a whole bunch of problems—air pollution, soil contamination, and messing up waterways. It¡¯s not a great situation. Here's the thing that's not helping: we¡¯re not really following the reduce, reuse, recycle rulebook. We¡¯re not cutting back on what we throw away, not finding clever ways to reuse stuff, and recycling? Yeah, we could do a lot more of that. But hey, there's a silver lining! We're rolling out these campaigns and rallies to spread the word on how we can all be smarter about handling our trash. And guess what? We had this awesome workshop thanks to Tunza Eco-Generation. We talked about some pretty cool stuff—like the circular economy and how tech, like AI, can swoop in and help us manage our waste way better. Now, picture this: if we all chipped in—using less stuff, finding creative ways to reuse things, and stepping up our recycling game—our cities would look cleaner, feel healthier, and be a better place for everyone. So, let's team up and make a change. It¡¯s time to take charge and tidy up Nepal¡¯s cities—one piece of trash at a time! For more info: Lakshya Nepal Page: https://www.facebook.com/lakshyanepalnp
