Until now, I have posted articles that were all about gloomy and frightening topics. But that?s the way it is. China is home to so many environmental problems, and there are many more issues that I failed to post here. However, China is changing. And this time, it is a good change. 

In the past, not many people were aware of what is being done to the environment. But now, there are. Even though there are not passionate activists, they are now certainly viewing the environment with more concern. City residents are now promoting sustainable consumption and lifestyle. More environmental writers, journalists and activists are coming out.

In the past, the focus of Chinese politicians was ?making the most out of nature?. But now, many new politicians are coming out, promising a better China with better environment. Ecological technologies are being developed at a fast rate. Revered journalist Jonathan Watts says that when it comes to environmental issues, China is a country with extreme despair and extreme hope. Let?s hope that China, the biggest country in the world, becomes one of the greenest country in the world in the near future!!
