UAE Capital Abu Dhabi currently has 48 Beautiful parks & 37 Playgrounds for children. In next three years, by 2017, they plan to increase the number of parks to 130. This announcement was made by Abu Dhabi Municipality at its 34 Plantation Week event. To begin with, 15 parks and playing fields will be ready by Mar-2015. At a press conference, a municipality spokesman said its plan will include Mohammed bin Zayed City, Khalifa City, Shakhbout City, Shamkha City and Al Adla City. The parks are intended for use by residents of all ages, and will feature cafes, playgrounds, barbeque platforms and dining tables, plus grounds for playing football and basketball, the municipality said. Dear friends, you might have noticed that whenever you go to a park the air seems fresher. We feel refreshed. You know it is beneficial to the eyes if you walk barefoot, early morning, before sunrise, on grass. Also, everybody knows about the oxygen that plans emit & CO2 that they inhale. Human existence depends upon plants & trees. Opening more parks for the people is an excellent move by the Abu Dhabi Municipality. This move is welcome & I would like to request all the readers by way of Tunza Eco-Generation platform that making beautiful parks etc. is the duty of the government but as the users of this great facility it is our utmost responsibility to cooperate in maintaining these parks & other beautiful buildings. We should dispose the garbage responsibly, keep the surroundings clean, do not pluck flowers or damage greenery. By the way here in UAE there are hefty fines for the violators and by and large the public is decent & well behaved. So this news may be shared with joy. Thanks for reading. I love to visit the park, specially in UAE as they are clean, green & very well maintained. You know Safa park (Dubai) was created in 1975, almost 40 years old!
