HOME is a documentary made by Yann Arthus - Bertrand . This film presents the state of the planet we live in, that is the Earth . Tells about the climate and how we ( humans ) as the most dominant species changing earth , past, present , and future . The theme presented is the correlation between all the organisms associated with the earth in a complicated relationship but it is important to maintain a balance with each other . So there can not be any living organism on its own.
The documentary begins by showing a landscape of volcanic mountains . And explained that the origin of life that comes from single-celled organime edges of volcanic springs . These single-celled organisms that have an important role in the evolutionary process of photosynthesis .
And then life developed , so there is water and trees . Then this documentary presents a human life that is more oriented to the scope of life , which in turn gave rise to civilization . Starting from the agricultural revolution , and finally found the oil that makes human civilization is changing faster . The presence of industry , city , buildings , skyscrapers, and would result in a gap that has never happened before . Hunger , lack of clean water , and even more alarming is the energy crisis , especially electricity .
An imbalance in energy management , water , and food is ultimately a greater impact , the Global Warming and carbon crisis . HOME displays facts about the earth and followed by a positive conclusion . At least invite us to know where we live life together , namely the earth . And to pay more attention to environmental issues and more or less gradually will affect our lives in general .
