On the eve of World Environment Day , I visited an exhibition "ART FROM WASTE" to get new  ideas of upcycling and to appreciate and encourage the participants those who displayed their beautiful master pieces (art and useful objects) using scrap /waste materials using their craftsmanship skills. I was impressed with various posters made from recycled material , Photo frames made from waste CDs , party dresses made from waste CDs.

Other attractions were :

Paintings and posters on food waste.

A beautiful model made to depict Global warming and it's effects.

Boat model made from Styrofoam.

Model of ship made from used plastic bottles.

Plant pots made from plastic milk bottles.

Beautiful model of tree made from recycled paper.

Model of Globe made from recycled plastic cups.

Piggy banks , wallets made from old clothes , used plastic cups.

Model  of snowman made from waste plastic cups.

Paper wallet.

Helicopter model made from cork.

Coconut shell recycled into bowl.

Doormat made from old clothes.

Cage made from recycled plastic bottles.

This exhibition was very inspiring and motivating for me . I would like to emphasise again not to waste anything. If you think and explore , there are many different ways of upcycling waste/discarded items.
