During my visit to the hydro power station I stayed in probably the most beautiful place of Nepal, Pokhara. Pokhara is the place that everyone falls in love with its natural setting and beauty. If you ask a tourist who have visited Pokhara, he will just not stop describing about the beautiful city. So I thought it would be wise to share Tunza member something about Pokhara and its beauty.

Pokhara lies to the west of Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and the road distance is around 160 kilometers and it would take 6-7 hours to reach to Pokhara by bus. It has got beautiful lake such as Phewa, Begnas to name a view, and you can have breathtaking view of different mountain at any time of the year. Apart from that there are famous falls and adventure sports including paragliding and zip flyers is one of the best in the whole world. Apart from these all night life and marketing will make you feel that heaven lies here in the Pokhara.

It is not only the natural beauty here, people here work hard to make sure that the place is kept clean and you rarely find plastics and wrappers thrown haphazardly and you do not really like throw any litters here. Every house member take in initiation to clean their house area and during the rainy season people do not hesitate to clean the drain around their house and clear the overflow of water and dirt carried by it.

The public places are cleaned here regularly and the local bodies are working effectively to make sure that the places are clean and green all the time. Everyoneknows their role and they carry it responsibly and all of them are happy to see their hard work get paid. This makes the difference between Pokhara and other places of Nepal so different. This small change is enough to attract a lot of visitors down here in Pokhara, the paradise.
