It feels immense pleasure to write to all of you that I was able to carry out my fourth program in the month of June to create awareness among the people and promote greenery. Really this month I was busy and I was able to create impact among the people and students to do something to the mother program. Recently I along with my two other friend went to Shree Satya Shahi Vidhya Mandir situated in Kathmandu to give a presentation on solid waste management and it was really great to talk to those eager students.

We carried a session to students of standard eight and we gave a presentation on solid waste management. The students were passionate listeners and we were delighted to see them writing a note while we were giving them the presentations. We were happy to know that they were practicing some methods including composting at their home to manage the solid waste.

Our presentation which was almost an hour long was able to cover the practical and effective approach to manage the solid waste and rather on focusing on big and technical topics we presented them the practical and applicable ways to manage the waste in their own initiation.

At last I had interaction with some of those students and they told that they understood a lot about the waste management and they also committed themselves to manage the waste in the best way possible. This program was really great one, and if the students share the knowledge to their family and society and apply it as well then I am sure that the solid waste management would not be a great deal in the days to come. But for this to happen every one must be responsible and do something with their own initiation and influence to keep the environment clean and green.
