South Korea Leads Green initiatives the way forward for Asia
South Korea is drafting several development plans to create green industries and nearly one million jobs and China is allocating 40% of its stimulus package to environment-related projects. Add to this a trilateral partnership between South Korea, China and Japan to lead low-carbon green growth and it's a recipe for growth across the region.

It is a place where you find both perfect peace and harmony. Korean culture rarely falls short of amazing. South Korea became an independent nation after World War II and has flourished since then. Cuisine: South Korean meals are very wholesome and nutritious and include all major components from the food pyramid. It directs people towards a healthier lifestyle and approach. They say that Korean food is cooked with love and appreciation. Nowadays South Korea has become such a diverse nation that it is easy to find a McDonalds or a Burger King around every corner. South Korea is filled with multinational cuisine restaurants as well. This gives people variety of options to choose from instead of having one cuisine everyday with no access to other foods and dishes from around the world.
Beliefs: The main beliefs of South Korea are Buddhism and Shamanism. This does not mean that everyone follows this religion. South Korean nationals are very open, understanding and liberal in context to allowing people of different religions to live in the cities. That is why South Korea is a popular tourist destination and also many people from around the world live there today. South Korea is indeed a diverse nation.
Technology and Economy: If you wish find the latest technology, its all here in South Korea. South Korea is sixth on the world?s top ten countries with the highest exports. South Korea is home to leading brands like Samsung, LG (technology), Hyundai and Daewoo (automobiles). South Korea houses many other international brands and has evolved into one of the strongest economies of the world today. If you would choose to live in South Korea, the economic and technological advancements would be literally in your reach.
Lifestyle: People in South Korea are strict about crime laws and following the rules and orders of the government. However, people live freely in South Korea. Festivals like The Boryeong Mud Festival happen once every year attracting millions of people from around the world. In 2012, 3 million people came to witness this event. People take part in mud wrestling, mud races, mud photo-shoots, mud marathons and even mud massages. In South Korea fast food restaurants have delivery people deliver the food to you doorstep and after you are done with your meal, you can leave the dishes outside and the delivery person will come and collect it for you. Life in South Korea is comfortable for all.
Arts: South Korean Art includes calligraphy, music, painting and pottery, identifies by the use of natural forms, surface decoration and bold colors and sounds. It holds rich and deep meaning and indeed is a wonderful sight to see. There are over 500 museums in South Korea, which have restored art pieces from periods like the Stone Age. In South Korea there are court dances and folk dances. Court dances are performed in formal and ritual ceremonies and fold dances are performed fro entertainment purposes. Dance forms like hip-hop and jazz have also become common among the younger generation in Korea. The same applies to music. Court music and folk music are performed in formal ceremonies and for entertainment respectively. K-pop and Rap are common musical genres found among the Korea youth.
In conclusion, South Korea is a diverse and welcoming nation filled with many different magical things to see, feel and experience. It has a rich blend of traditional and modern concepts in it and we encourage you to join the South Korean culture and embrace it with ease.
