Desire to Bring in Change - Sharing Values by Simran Vedvyas A pile of rocks ceases to be a rock when somebody contemplates it with the idea of a cathedral in mind. - Antoine de Saint-Exupery French writer and aviator We need to take firm action and communicate the need and importance of Sustainable Development. The Participants are the Champions too as much as the presenters since they carry forward the message and circulate in their own communities. I recently had the opportunity to share my presentation with nearly 120 students from the Secondary Section in my school The Universal American School Dubai, UAE, about -how youth can raise the needed awareness and can contribute in reducing the carbon footprint of Dubai, thus combating global warming with the reduction of greenhouse gases, and creating sustainability We had interactive sessions of question and answers and many students learnt new skills and gained valuable information. Some Pictures Shared and they are the intellectual property of UAS and the rights of use remain with them. These are used to raise more educational awareness.
