Growing plants at home in cities is possible and e practical too.

Here are a few ideas that you can use to grow plants in your homes.

Tomato:

Requires compost like eggshells and old leaves, 2-3 hours of sunlight and a deep container to produce fruit in 2-3 months.

Mint:

Requires being kept out in the sun on a permanent basis and watering daily to be ready to use in about 1 month time.

Chilies:

Requires being kept out in the sun on a permanent basis, very little water and an old plastic bottle to produce fruit in about 2 months.

Don?t forget, growing plants requires a lot of responsibility and care, so be prepared with all the commitment you have as you embark on this rewarding journey!

Thanks for the pics and encouragement. Back home in India at my grandparents place we have big garden where we grow many vegetables like brinjal , lemon , chillies , tomatoes, ladyfinger etc. It is so nice to grow vegetables yourself and then eat them pure and fresh.
