From February 1-4, 2016. Indonesia State Minister for The Environment with Minister Norway Kingdom and UNDP Indonesia held a series of event as a channel to deliver points from Paris Agreement (COP21) to the stake holders involving Climate Change in Indonesia and public that as given a name Climate Festival 2016.

Paris Agreement (COP21) that is hoping to reach target to withhold the increasing temperature under 2 degree Celsius is possible through synergy with the stake holders accompanied by peoples support.

Keeping the rising temperature under 2 degree Celsius to the welfare of the people and the future generation.

Contributing to reduce emission and preventing the earth temperature increase so it would stay under 2 degree can soon and real because this festival provided a water dispenser at some meeting spots, so it is expected that the visitors bring a tumbler to refill their water. With this method, it is a fact that that the mountain of water plastic bottles will lessen.

This event gives a lot of information especially about the effect of climate change that is perceived right now at this festival as a momentum together to be more caring to the environment.

The series of event is filled up with a mini seminar and an interactive discussion along with an event themed a green life style and entertainment.

These events are very important in creating awareness as well as in engaging the youth and other key stakeholders. Nice to know such events are being organized in Indonesia :) I hope such events are organized in the future in Bangladesh.
