I am sure that most of the people in this forum would be knowing something or the other about the Dubai Expo 2020 Bid. I am George Zacharia, one of the 3 youth ambassadors for the bid chosen by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the primeminister of UAE and the ruler of Dubai. Dubai is bidding to host the World 2020 Expo in Dubai. There are 5 other cities along with Dubai for the bid. We all are excited about Olympics and the Fifa World Cup. Well, the Expo is much much more than that. It is 6 months of fun, excitement and innovation. One of the subthemes of the Expo in Dubai is sustainability and that is why I though I must tell you more about Dubai Expo 2020. The theme for the Dubai Expo 2020 is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. Those of you who have been to Dubai know very well that is all that Dubai is about. Dubai has proven to world that it can do very well in challenges. It is the global hub for many things. You all know about the Burj Khalifa, The Masdar city, The Palm islands, The wonderful traditions, Culture, Art, Music, etc and most of all Hospitality. So, Let us join to support the bid whether we are citizens, residents or maybe just normal students and people as I believe that Dubai is indeed the ideal city to host this event. Sure, Dubai is bidding to host the 2020 Expo. There are 3 subthemes. They include sustainability, mobility and opportunity.

Congratulations! Dubai seems just the right city to host an expo with the theme "sustainability" with all the environmental projects going on in UAE. Maybe you could show me around when I go there by chance! :)
