Sustainability is one of the core themes of Rio+20 . As the TUNZA children and youth representative , therefore , I focus on creating awareness about sustainable living and practices amongst my peer group . It was indeed a privilege to be a delegate at the Global Issues Conference 2012 held in Abu Dhabi . Students from several international schools from four continents attended this conference and it was a fabulous experience for me to conduct a workshop on sustainability for the attendees .  The workshop dealt with the social  , economic and enbironmental aspects as well as addressed the five pillars of sustenance. An interactive Q&A session at the close resulted in several innovative ideas cropping up about CO2 footprint reduction.

Apart from this , I displayed a sample of the world's tallest tower , Burj Khalifa , made from recycled bottles . It was also a great experience meeting Guiness record holder adventurer Scott Hammel who shared his hairraising exploits with the attendees.
