I wished to spend my holiday by contributing a bit to save my planet. I made a book shelf with cardboard box. For this, I collected three similar Date package box from the nearby supermarket.

I glued them one above the other and decorated with color paper. In order to move the shelf with ease, I fixed trolley wheels.

This self-made book shelf did not cost anything and was made by reusing/upcycling of discarded cardboard box.

This I believe is one of the most effective ways to save the natural resources such as wood and protect the environment.

On the other hand a plastic book shelf is indestructible and would have added to land fill causing damage to our planet. It would affect the environment and ultimately our health.
