Plant A Tree

by | 10-09-2015 05:04 recommendations 0

Trees play a significant role in carbon reduction and as well serve as a very critical resource in rural areas. However, the number of trees has reduced by 46% since the advent of human civilization.

We now have 3.04 trillion trees remaining. 1.38 trillion in Tropical and Sub Tropicals, 0.61 trillion in Temperate regions and 0.74 trillion in the boreal. Colleagues in the tropical, I think you will now understand why large  organizations are pushing more funds into afforestation in your region.

We need more tress, their ecological role in our ecosystems cannot be  undermined. What we have is not enough. Lets campaign  more for re-forestation and rehabilitation of destroyed forests.

Plant a tree today. Let us save a dying planet.
