Pre-Monsoon Horror!!!

In South-Asia, particularly regions of India and Nepal when the land gets heated up the cool air from the Indain ocean fills the landmass. The moisture in the wind is the reason for the precipitation and  the summer monsoon in this region. Similarly the wind rounding the Bay of Bengal intensifies the monsoon precipitation here. The climatic pattern depicts June-September as the surge in Monsoon precipitation gradually rising at the end of June and falling at the end of September. But this year the pre-monsoon horror has terrified the people of this region.

Monsoon has yet to reach its full swing but rivers have begin to flood and massive landslides have pushed the damage to an unexpected amount. There are reports of massive damage caused by landslides and floods in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand states of India. In Nepal too, the news reports of human casualties due to the uncontrollable flood in Mahakali River of Mahakali Zone

    The news is full of devastation caused by floods. Let us hope for safety of people stuck in low lying areas. Let the fury of nature also remind us to respect nature and preserve it.
