Walk and Use Public Transportation

by Ida Ayu Mas Amelia Kusumaningtyas | 30-09-2018 20:08 recommendations 0

Gases produced from vehicles create air pollution, which in turn takes part in the depletion of ozone layer. Regarding this, I would walk and take a public transportation to go somewhere. I could choose to take a type of minivan called angkot, or a bus, or even a train.

Taking a public transportation to a mass event is a must because usually the parking venue would be crowded. For instance, the Asian Games held at Gelora Bung Karno. I went to the venue by walking and using public transportation. I first used an angkot to get to the bus stop. After taking a bus to Gelora Bung Karno, I continued to walk to the main gates. I walked around inside the venue enjoying the festivities. Returning home, I didn?t take the same route. A lot of people used the bus so it was really crowded. I then decided to get off near a train station. After walking a bit, I got on a train. The train wasn?t as crowded as the bus so it was relieving. Getting off at a train station near home, I crossed the road and hailed another angkot. In front off my house, I just get off the angkot, and I?m home.

As you can see there is a lot of public transportation in which I could use. There are a lot of variations. I am happy to use them because they are not expensive and because they are time saving. Transportation like the bus and train doesn?t get caught in traffic. I can also exercise when I walk to the bus stop or train station making me healthier. So let?s all walk and use the public transportation as often as we can to help the environment in which help stop the depletion of the ozone layer.
