Monthly event: My ways of reducing air pollution

by Muskan Priya | 01-07-2019 16:52 recommendations 1

Simple daily habitual steps helps to reduce air pollution.

Some of my personal steps are:

1) terrace planting: In this era of buildings and apartments, everyone does not have a garden of their own. But we all have balconies and terrace. Planting and gardening on terrace is a menace.

2) Using public vehicles rather my own motor vehicle to reach a distant place. If it's close to my house I prefer walking instead.

3) Investing in Air Purifier Plants: Nowadays, the air purifying machines are available in the market and are becoming more and more popular albeit we can save a lot of money by investing in air purifying plants like money plants, areca palm and snake plants. This is my favourite way of trying to improve the quality of my house.

4) Using a fan instead of air conditioner all the time. We know about ozone layer depletion, global warming. But talking about global warming while sitting in a air- conditioned room is a big hypocrisy. So, I try to reduce of using air conditioner to minimum.

5) Using electric appliances with Energy Stars on them.
