EasyZambia, as the Zambian Chapter of UNEP’s Tunza Eco Generation, in collaboration with Perfect Philanthropic Media Impact and the Zambian Youth Parliament for Water, has successfully initiated the Environmental Literacy Program at Nakatindi Combined School in Livingstone, Zambia. Their project aims to raise awareness and promote environmental education among the youth, fostering a sustainable mindset for the future.

With a focus on hands-on engagement, they distributed eco-friendly products such as biodegradable rulers, notebooks, pens, rubber bands, and eco bags. Utilizing informative brochures and conducting engaging activities including interactive sessions, quizzes, massive tree-planting campaigns, and climate justice advocacy, they created a dynamic learning environment for the students.

The impact of the program has been remarkable, with active participation from 50 students in interactive sessions and over 100 students engaging in the campaigns. Emphasizing diversity and inclusion, EasyZambia ensured the involvement of differently-abled individuals, fostering a sense of empowerment and inclusivity.

The organization witnessed a transformative shift in the students’ knowledge, attitudes, and actions towards the environment.
