Visit to International Greentech & Eco products Exhibition & conference Malaysia |

Green technology and product are getting popular and high in demand recently. Hence, I visited the 5th International Genentech & Eco Products & conference Malaysia or known as IGEM which was held 16-19 October at Kuala Lumpur Convention centre. This Expo is organized annually and getting more and more exhibitor for the past few years. This IGEM is organized by Ministry of Energy, Green, Technology and Water Malaysia in collaboration with many other agencies. The exhibition this year is themed ?Creating Green Wealth?. IGEM showcased a wide spectrum of industries focusing on 6 key themes that is Green Transportation and logistics, Green Energy, Green building and interiors, Water and waste management, Eco products and services, Green ICT and finance. This four day events provide a wide range of Genentech solutions, insights and opportunities from all over the world. IGEM focused on the promotion and awareness creation of the importance of green technology in general public to nurturing green technology. The Exhibitor is from all corner of the world such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, China and so on. Below are some information and knowledge that I gained from the exhibition. This is the Organization which encourages and provides assistance to individual with poor background to make their own basket to earn income for their daily needs. This nonprofit social enterprise promotes working from home, self help, entrepreneurship for a work life balance. Besides, this is some of the environmental friendly and recycled products that made from plastics bags, banner, rice bags, newspaper, maggi packs, biscuits packs and so on. It is under promotion of local government. Cosmos (http://www.comos.com.my ) ,is the first car sharing service using EV fleet (electric cars and bikes) in Malaysia. This car integrated with EVSE (charging station) and parking reservation and management system as well as user mobile apps, allowing users to pick up or drop their EVs at any designated green parking bays within the city. EcoLoop (http://www.ecoloop.eu) is a sustainable toilet which is the first using technology of production of gas from waste materials that can replace fossil fuels on an industrial scale in an economical, ecological and efficient manner! Waste glass management and recycling system.

IGEM, in Malaysia, seems to be a great initiative by the govt.
You have presented excellent pics & good explanation of the event.
