Human or animal every creature needs the air to survive. So you know we can't think even a minute with out air. Now if this air gets polluted then what can be the result?
yes today its happening in different parts of the world. whatever is a developed or developing country. We do live in a developing country and we have to face it a lot.
Bangladesh is located in the south part of the Asia, a country full of natural resources and beauties. But we are developing and the touch of the development procedure blessed(!!) us with the curse of pollution.
And we are recently declared as 4th most polluted in the world.
I am very sorry to present the issue, but it a undeclared challenge from the very beginning time of the development. You know the City Dhaka is more than 400 years old.And we do have a lots of industries, pharmaceuticals, mechanical procedure. These are releasing the chemical gas to the air and we have a good transportation system too and that is also contributing in Air pollution. One report said that about 90 percent of people living in the cities are being exposed to dangerous levels of air pollution.
Outdoor air pollution killed 3.7 million people in 2012 and according WHO it is now the world's largest single environmental health risk.
That report also informed only 12 percent of people are living in cities that conform to the WHO air quality guideline levels.
i didn't added the data a lot cause we do know all about this. What we don't know is that we are making our life time short day by day !!
At last i request to all please lets share the issue of air of your country.

Polluted air not only deteriorates the environment but also is harmful to health of humans and birds and animals . Clean air to breathe and safe water to drink are the bare minimum & basic necessities for survival. All nations must put laws and regulations in place to discourage establishment of factories which emit harmful gases , cars which do not comply to proper emission standards ...
As on 2014 , UAE showed improvement in it's ambient air quality .Air pollution at 55.95 (UAE 34th country out of 59) and Air Quality at 44.05 (26th out of 59). While the overall air quality in Dubai is better than in many developed countries, but it needs lot of monitoring and improvement .Some local authorities are already taking notice. In some areas, authorities have setup monitoring stations that are connected to their websites, allowing anyone to track the elevated levels of air pollution. Specifically, they are tracking at particulate matter pollution, known as PM10 and PM2.5 which are troubling because they are small enough to pass directly into human lungs. Elevated levels of PM2.5 can lead to lung cancer and premature death.
Thanks for highlighting the issue here , Fayshal.
