Dubai Garden Glow –"Glowing wonders from recycleable material"

by Arushi Madan | 30-01-2016 23:34 recommendations 0

In December, Dubai Municipality unveiled the "Dubai Garden Glow" project — the first of its kind in the Gulf. Dubai Garden Glow offers two diverse experiences, Art by day and Glow by night with unique installations, along with a sparkling garden that glitters in the evening.

The project has been inspired by wondrous sights from across the globe and offers art and entertainment experiences ranging from migration of wild life in Masai Mara to the tulips of the Netherlands besides recreating vignettes of the Jurassic age.

It offers visual treat  through it's amazing attractions like Dino Park, Savannah and a Talking Tree.

The best part is that all the artwork has been made from recycleable material ranging from porcelain cups to medicine bottles by as many as 150 artisans from different parts of the world.

The Porcelain Grand Shaikh Zayed Mosque made up of 90,000 porcelain cups, plates and spoonsThe Burj Khalifa recreated with 330,000 small medicine bottles filled with coloured water and stands over 12 meters (36") tall.

Another highlight of the show is the light show — an enchanting display of lights, never seen before. Garden Glow is seen showcasing interesting concepts for the younger children like the talking tree, panda paradise, dino camp and candy land to name few.

This themed destination also has a dedicated area for the younger children  where they can enjoy "learning with fun".

The new attraction is one of the world's unique theme gardens and also the first of its kind in the UAE, infact entire Gulf. Dubai Garden Glow is a vision of Dubai's commitment towards providing continuous recreation, leisure and entertainment to the local residents and tourists in a sustainable manner.

Isn't this a beautiful example of building glowing moments in an eco-friendly way(using recycled stuff)?
