COP18 - The March for Climate Change , 1st Dec2012 |

Activists from across the world who had come to attend COP18 , gathered on the Doha cornice on 1st Dec,2012 to march for climate justice. I was the youngest international delegate at COP18 which I attended as a member of AYCM and took part in the march. There were only 3 youth from AYCM, UAE at the march amongst which I was also the only TUNZA Ecogen ambassador. I gave numerous interviews to the international media and spread the message of climate justice . It was a great display of youth power and we urged the global leaders who had gathered at COP18 to do something tangible for climate change. It was indeed a great moment when the President of COP18 addressed all of us at the end of the rally and congratulated us for this initiative. |
