Policy I would like to establish for my nation

Nepal being rich in its nature and natural beauties have been suffering from environmental degradation to the impacts of climate change. Some of the environmental policy that i would like to establish in my country are: 1. Policy regarding the waste disposal People are found disposing the waste where ever they like causing a hump of waste being collected the public places polluting the environment. So, there should be a policy for the proper management of the waste reduced. 2. Policy Regarding Deforestation Although REDD ( Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) are there but the rate of deforestation is very high in the nation to convert forest into agriculture land and to fulfill the demand of the growing population. So, strict policy should be established regarding deforestation. 3. Sustainable use of natural resource Natural resources are being using haphazardly due to the lack of policy, So, there is a need of strong policy for the sustainable use of the natural resources. Although few policies like banning of plastic use to banning of old vehicles producing large some have been made, there still exist the problem due to the lack of its proper implementation.To improve the legal provision and to fill such gap following points should be taken into consideration: It is necessary to review all legislation to create idea about how it can be implementing effectively, unnecessary provision must be repeal, and some must be amend. Governmental bodies must be seriously responsible for implementation of law. Judiciary must interpret law properly and monitor the implementation of law. Environmental protection council must be active, and necessary to formulate new idea for protection of environment There must be provision of compulsory Public participation in environmental protection activities. Hello Kushal
To achieve the goals set up by policies, we need continuous monitoring and commitment in every step regarding the whole cycle. There should be a thorough investigation of the issue and based on the information a nice goal should be set. Then, to make sure that is well implemented, understanding of the stake holders and concerning techs are needed. And when it is practiced, monitoring should be done and followup feedbacks are needed!

Hello Kushal, a couple of regional ambassadors keep telling us that Nepal needs more effort in conserving rare species and ecosystem inner the national park, and enhancing proper waste management system.
Both of these objectives require a lot of time and budget, but since Nepal has been famous for its gorgeous landscape and beautiful environment, it would be easier for Nepal government and local people to get them back to the original image and level!

You have also highlighted the critical aspects that need to be addressed in environmental development.
Looking at the policy cycle the image depicts, it is clear that the point at which our Nation's Environmental sector is missing it is the aspect of implementation and checking &correction action aspects. It is not that these proposed policies are not existing, but the highlighted aspects in the cycle are not well considered.

That image has really exposed where we are really missing it.

The sustainable development of resources is the core function that we need to focus on in terms of policies. The policies you have put up are very significant to the Nation of Nepal and I see that you put so much reference to deforestation and waste disposal. Not only are the policies viable in your nation but I believe it can also be viable in other nations too.

A serious look into the implantation of our policies needs to be addressed. This will require that the executive judicial system reinforces their mandate to install the law into the nation.
