After this message of thanks and encouragement, the team started the sanitation while passing on some messages focused on cleanliness and malaria prevention.
In order to reinforce these messages, the head of the malaria project at the MKF intervened to talk about the causes, consequences and means of prevention of this disease which is the first cause of death in the world.
The realization of this activity was necessary because it raised awareness among young people about the protection of our environment.

    Hello Sandy,
    this is your mentor WooJoo.

    Warm greetings from South Korea!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Being responsible of the sanitation of public places and taking care of them are very essential things to keep the citizens away from diseases caused by pollution.
About two million people are dying every year because of malaria,
and actually South Korea was ranked as the 1st OECD country having the highest number of malaria patients, so it seems that we have to aware more of it as well.
Hopefully the cleaned areas stay clean, and more volunteers can join with the youths so that they can prevent waste pollution.

    Keep sharing

    Regards,
    WooJoo
