Free report, February. Environmental awareness in Istanbul

by Vazira Ikhtiyorova | 22-02-2022 22:33 recommendations 0

Dear all,

I am glad to share more about the environemnetal sistuation in world's one of the most beautiful cities, Istanbul, Turkey! With 75 percent of the people living in cities, the country's cities are growing and urban density is increasing. Its habits are shifting, its consumption is rising, and its energy demands are rising. As demand for raw resources rises, so does the demand for raw materials.

According to the survey, at least one-third of the 49 million tons of fruits and vegetables produced were wasted during production or distribution, and the average frequency of unnecessary mobile phone and car replacement is less than three years and roughly five years, respectively.

One of the main challenges addressed in these strategies is waste. Many initiatives have been done in this direction to achieve a balance of protection and use of our raw materials and natural resources, to re-evaluate the inevitably created trash as a resource, and to become a self-sufficient country.

With this push, I'd want to point out that consumers can change some of their habits, such as using reusable products rather than disposable ones, and thereby contribute significantly to our country, our environment, and our future.

As a result, Turkey must adapt and set an example for the rest of the globe. Europe, China, and Chile are all aiming for carbon neutrality. Turkey, too, possesses the necessary resources and capabilities. If Turkey exploits these opportunities moderately and appropriately, it may return to its essence, live an environmentally responsible life, and use its resources more effectively and efficiently. I hope I'll be able to envoy, and thank you!

Hello Vazira, this is your mentor Joon.

Thought we should urge the producing side of merchandise, in order to emancipate us from plastic usage, some actions could also be made on consumer side. Consumers can choose to use reusable products. No matter how much companies produce products with non-reusable cases, if customers decide not to use one, then the product would not be made. Customers should make a trend, a tendency not to use such products so that they could urge production side to produce sustainable products.

Well read your article, and let's keep up!

    Best,

    Joon
