The Green Certification Program is a voluntary, self-guided initiative that promotes sustainable practices. Green building certifications are a great way to showcase your firm¡¯s focus on sustainability to prospective tenants and investors. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), issued by U.S Green Building Council is the most easily recognized sustainable building certification out there. It has nine separate certification programs, including ones for commercial, retail, new construction, existing buildings, and more. The Green Globes certification program is offered through the Green Building Initiative. It consists of three categories: new construction, existing buildings, and interiors. NABER'S is a green building certification available to Australian projects only. It measures environmental impact on a six-star scale, based on energy use, waste production, water use, and indoor environment. The Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency is a green building certification in Japan, though it¡¯s currently being piloted for international use. The program certifies residential and commercial construction, urban development, and city management.

Hello Sudura, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
There exist many types of green building certification programs, and among them, LEED is the most famous one. It is used not only in the United States, but also in many other countries to assess buildings and constructions. Thank you for introducing us to the green building certification in Australia! I hope more construction design companies will adopt strategies to get LEED certification.
Thank you for the article!
Regards,
Chelwoon

Hello Sudura, this is your mentor Joon.
When we say Green buildings, we are looking for buildings with, ideally, autonomous way of generating energy using sustainable source, high energy efficiency through usage of LED lightings, and Low energy loss using good insulators. To add, it would be nice to have sustainable building processes. Yet, due to the constraints and lack of subsidies, we cannot pursue all. With the limitations, there are some buildings which still meets some criteria of 'green building' and we give out the certifications. In one day, I hope every building in earth becomes a true Green Building.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
