Melting Glaciers
Global warming is nothing but the increase in average temperature of the world. Due to this the glaciers in polar region is melting and so the sea level is rising. This is my main point in my awareness speech in Narayanasamy Municipal Higher Secondary School, Mayiladuthurai, Nagai District next to our District Cuddalore in Tamilnadu on 03.12.2011 Saturday. At the end of my speech I issued 200 coconut saplings to the students. I bought those saplings from the money I got it from my key board music concert. Totally 1200 students attended the awareness camp. The environmental scientists and the UN reports explained that within 2030, the icecaps vanished fully due to climate changes but the Arctic circle?ll lost its ice caps fully within 2015 itself said the British scientist Peter Vadams. So the polar bears lived there?ll become endangerous. The environmental degradation is the main reason for this. If this happens the sea level increases continuously so the places near the sea that is from Kolkata (India) to Miami (America) will face lots of problem warned UN secretary Pon KiMoor. 6 crore people live within 1 meter distance from the sea all over the world. By the end of this century it?ll become 13 crore. So the important cities nearer to sea like Cairo, Newyork, Karachi, Kolkatta, Belam, NewArliance,Shankai, Tokiyo, Lacos, Miami, Amsterdam will comeacross the natural disasters like cyclone, depression etc. Urbanization is the reason which loosely related to the climate change. In 2050 approximately 20 crore people?ll lost their shelter due to climate changes. So now itself we concentrate in green works like reforestation, reducing fossil fuel, increasing the renewable energy like solar power, wind power, Hydroelectricity etc to manage our energy needs.

Wow you are an eco-superstar! The audiences look much older than you.
You are so confidence that give a speech in front of that many people.
They must have understood the severity of melting glaciers through your session.
