The scientific name of asiatic rock python is Python molurus. It lays about 80-100 eggs. The eggs hatches after 60-80 days. Expensive belts, bags and other articles are made from its skin. That is why it is hunted. It is 7 cm in length and 90 kg in weight. It is found in dense forest. It hides in a log of wood or dry leaves. It is also found in grasslands near rivers or ponds. Its head is wide with small eyes and yellow eyeballs. It is largest among the snakes in the world but it isn't poisonous. Its body is white , black and spotted.
